FIRST GRADE SUPPLY LIST 2009-2010 It is our pleasure to have your child in our class this upcoming year. We look forward to our part in helping your child grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Please find below a list of supplies we will need for the school year. These supplies will be kept at school to avoid loss and waste. $10.00 WORKBOOK AND SUPPLY FEE ? must be paid before child receives books! NO ROLLING BOOKSACKS 1 pair Fiskars scissors 1 plastic school box (6"x8"-no larger) 4 packs of 24 #2 pencils (pretty, decorative ones usually do not sharpen well) 4 boxes 24 count crayons 2 glue sticks 1 coloring book to fit inside desk 1 pack colored computer paper 1 81/2 x 11 clipboard (clipboard with flat clips work best) 2 marble type composition books 3 1st grade primary writing tablets (advanced primary tablet 9/16 ruling recommended for 3rd grade ? should be at least 8 lines on a page) 1 roll paper towels 2 boxes Kleenex 1 dry erase marker (no yellow please) 4 blue pronged folders (or 2 blue plastic folders) 1 box quart size Ziploc bags 1 box gallon Ziploc bags 1 pack of 100 index cards 2 green ink pens 1 pack loose leaf paper ? wide ruled 1 large eraser (not pencil top)
