Student Expectations

Students are expected to follow school/class rules and procedures. They need to make sure they have all supplies to be ready to learn.  Homework will be sent home and expected to be returned the next day. By the end of the year they are expected to read a minimum of 90 words per minute.

Parent Expectations

Please work with your children at home on reading and all homework.  Attend school functions such as Literacy Night and Math Night. As soon as parents see a problem with their child, they should notify me immediately. It is extremely important to have open communication between parents and myself for the benefit of the child.

About Me

I have been teaching for 8 years. I have experience in 5th grade, 3rd grade and Kindergarten. 2nd grade is new for me, but I am excited to work with some of the students I've worked with before.  I believe all children can and will learn. My class has a safe and comfortable learning atmosphere.
