Student Expectations

I expect each student to be respectful of the other students and teachers in our class.  We must all learn to get along with each other and we must learn to be good listeners.  IF YOU LISTEN, THEN YOU WILL LEARN.

Parent Expectations

I want parents to be able to talk to me about their child and any questions or concerns they may have. Parents may feel free to call me at school (839-3976) and I will return their call, send me a note, or call me at home (871-9790).

I expect parents to read the notes sent home to keep up with various school activities. I also expect parents to be supportive of the teachers and the school.

Parents can also do the following:
Talk to your child about his/her day.
Read books to your child every night.
Play games with your child.

Hi!  My name is Jeanne Daughdrill.  I am married (Richard) and have 3 children:  Megan (13), Zack (9), and Tyler (18 months).  I  have been teaching school for 7 years. This will be my fourth year in Pre-K. I enjoy working with young children   For many of our students, this will be their first learning experience outside of their home. I believe all children CAN and WILL learn. I look forward to spending the year with your child.

About Pre-K

Our Pre-K uses the Creative Curriculum.  We learn letters, numbers, shapes, etc. through hands-on center activities, music, games, and art.  Your child will not be working in workbooks or completing worksheets.  The children are encouraged to choose activities they are interested in working on.
