I hope that my classroom is a warm and inviting place; where students feel comfortable and parents feel welcomed.

I feel that all children can learn and it is the teacher's job to find how each child learns best. I think learning should be fun and exciting.

Parents know their children better than anyone else. I want a good rapport with my student's parents. They should feel free to contact me at any time to discuss their child or get an answer to a question. However, I do ask that a conference time be scheduled through phoning the office or written correspondence.

I am at school late everyday. I prefer to conference after school which allows me to totally focus on that parent and that child. I do request that you call the office to schedule a conference time so that I can be prepared for you.
My rules are simple; respect yourself and your classmates, complete assigned tasks, wait your turn, and keeps hands and feet to yourself.

About My Class

I have very high expectations of my students. I believe that children will live up to your expectations of them. Children should come to class prepared to complete the day's tasks, be respectful to each other, complete homework and/or reading assignments in order to be prepared for class and increase their reading fluency.
