E.E.S Reading First Contact: Polly Thigpen
The Reading First
grant provides small group instruction for students in K-3 who are learning
to read. In a small group, children learn the basics of reading by playing
games, reading various materials, and receiving direct reading instruction.
Because of this grant, students are taught with the newest, most innovative
reading strategies that will help them be successful for the rest of their
lives.
